The Crown Path

From the dike of the Zuid-Willemsvaart you leave for a unique experience at literally high level. The canopy path runs between the treetops like a real sky bridge in the mine subsidence area. From this unique track, you will be the privileged witness of the curious consequences of mine subsidence. But also between the trees you will be short of eyes with all those birds and insects. The Kruinenpad is 181 meters long. While cycling you reach the Kruinenpad between cycle junctions 48 and 55. Would you like to discover the Kruinenpad on foot? Then follow the red route (14km) of RivierPark Maasvallei, departing from Leut. Would you like to visit the Kruinenpad by car? Then park parallel to the end of the Kerkhofstraat in Eisden-Dorp and walk further to the canal dike. Attention! Do not park past the barrier even if it is open.
