On January 11, the first troops of the 4th Cavalry Group descended from the Hez de Harzé to La Roche, which they found deserted by the Germans . At the same time they see the Highlanders coming from the other side of the Ourthe.
La Roche is liberated , but the fight continues...the Highlanders will liberate Hives, Hubermont, Mierchamps, Erneuville and Ortho.
