Ten Huize Planckaert is a B&B with Chalets in Bure.
Eddy Planckaert was a successful cyclist in the eighties. After his cycling career he started a sawmill in Lithuania and Poland. This was not a success and he retreated to the Ardennes where the family was followed for a reality soap.
On September 25, 2015, he set the world hour record on a wooden bicycle in Rochefort. He cycled 11 kilometers, 932 meters and 94 centimeters. However, this record is not recognized by the UCI.
