This repository with a statue of Saint Anthony is located on Rue de Grupont in Bure.
In the Middle Ages, a small chapel was also called a "Reposoir" , which was built along a road, for example, and which could also occasionally serve as a shelter .
So they are small structures, sometimes big enough to shelter at least one person . More recently, these constructions were also the work of wealthy families seeking to attract the graces of heaven or out of gratitude to one of them. One then speaks of a "reposoir-fixe". These are qualified as 'chapel' by the vox populi, although for the most part these places are unconsecrated .
