This is the funerary chapel of the family de Kerchove de Denterghem - Vilain XIIII, nowadays also called Sint-Christoffelkapel.
The brick chapel with one bay under a gable roof (slates, ridge perpendicular to the street) was built in 1853. Gullwing door with iron grille, including the initials DD ( de Denterghem) and the number XIIII (Vilain XIIII). A statue of Saint Christopher was placed on an altar from 1787 (transferred from the convent chapel).
The Confrérie Sint-Christoffel was founded in 1926 and is responsible for the organization of the annual car consecration in Deurle village.
