The Place Verte ballroom , covered in clay, is an exceptional testimony to the ball game in an urban environment. Competitions at the end of the 19th century could bring together more than 8,000 spectators .
The square was transformed into an “urban lifestyle point” with the aim of creating a public space full of life thanks to the active contribution of residents. The square was thus entitled to street furniture for books and games, planters, etc. that promote meetings and community life.
There are petanque squares where tournaments are being organized again.
There is a playground for children from 3 to 9 years old. It is easily accessible, of course safe and contains wooden blocks, a hopscotch, a small slide, basketball baskets..... A place to discover, especially when bathed in sunshine.
