The Frères' school is the result of several reconstruction campaigns after the bombings of May 1940.
It is a huge complex of school buildings between the rue du Four Cadeau and the rue des Choraux. Two buildings are of architectural interest : the main building on rue du Four Chapitre , rebuilt in 1947 and inaugurated in 1950. On the facade there is a plaque with the text "Depuis cent cinquante ans les frères sont a Tournai MCMLXXIII".
The building overlooking the rue des Choraux was built in 1954 and inaugurated in 1957.
