This small oratory dedicated to Notre-Dame de la Salette was built in 1854 on behalf of Madame de Clerfay and is made of brick and limestone.
Under a roof with a bell tower, the oratorio consists of one nave that ends in a three-sided choir. On the main facade, the building is accessible via a large arched bay with a double door and a parapet with stained glass windows .
The side openings are in neo-Gothic style, with their ogival shape, and have stained glass windows. Inside is a cartouche engraved with the inscription: "IN MEMORY OF MADAME / DE CLERFAY / DECEASED IN CHIMAY IN 1872 IN HER 72ND YEAR. / SHE WAS THE FOUNDER OF THIS CHAPEL / WHICH SHE BUILT IN 1854 AND WHERE SHE / ENDED HER LIFE IN PRAYER AND DEVOTION / ALL WHO KNEW HER HAVE / KEEP A GOOD AND Pious MEMORY OF HER / PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF HER SOUL.”
The building is enclosed with a wrought iron gate from the mid-19th century.
