This heterogeneous building of sandstone, limestone and brick , which dominates the square, is interesting for its chronological development, from the 11th-12th century to the 19th century. The stone parts probably date from the 11th-12th century and the brick parts from the 18th century.
Inside, there are several columns in the Hainuyer Gothic style, some of which bear the mark of a craftsman. The columns with smooth trunks, the black stone paving and the covering of the naves and transept with plastered false rib vaults on a wooden structure date from the reconstruction campaign of 1856-1862. The choir is covered with an 18th-century barrel vault.
