Belgian illustrator Eva Lynen created this colorful work on canvas in honor of 100 years of Smeets, a Hasselt grain gin.
Throughout the illustrations, you can find several references to the Hasselt gin culture, including the annual Jeneverfeesten. Central on the canvas, you see Gerard Smeets, the driving force behind Smeets gin.
Moreover, the 10-meter long canvas hangs in an ideal location: opposite the Jenevermuseum.
