Brasserie La Houppe was founded in 2013 by five beer enthusiasts. The brewery remained located in the former Balon-Parin brewery in Namur for 9 years. Production increased slowly but steadily. The friends decided to buy a new building. They set their sights on the former strawberry auction in Wépion. In the large hall, the old auction benches and the auction clock have remained. The beer production capacity currently amounts to 10,000 to 15,000 hl. The brewery's most famous beer is La Houppe, a blonde tripel (7.5% alc.).
