Brasserie La Houppe fue fundada en 2013 por cinco amantes de la cerveza. La cervecería permaneció 9 años ubicada en la antigua cervecería Balon-Parin en Namur. La producción aumentó lenta pero constantemente. Los amigos decidieron comprar un nuevo edificio. Fijaron su atención en la antigua subasta de fresas en Wépion. En el gran salón se han mantenido los antiguos bancos de subasta y el reloj de subasta. La capacidad de producción de cerveza ahora es de 10,000 a 15,000 hl. La cerveza más famosa de la cervecería es La Houppe, una rubia tripel (7,5 % alc.).
