This simple chapel is attached to the former barn of the house in the Kruisweg.
The chapel is dedicated to Our Lady. Throughout the centuries, countless apparitions and miracles have been attributed to Mary (such as in Lourdes or Fatima), which strengthened her veneration worldwide. This led to the construction of thousands of Marian chapels , also in the Flemish countryside.
It is clear that this chapel was built together with the barn. Possibly this chapel was part of a procession or was built to show the prosperity of the family.
