The route starts from the center of Sautin, in front of the old town hall, and takes you through rugged terrain through forests and meadows. As you walk out of the village, you will see the Tree of Youth (L’Arbre de la Jeunesse), which was planted in 1650. The story goes that the parents began a search after losing their little daughter. The youths of the village then found the girl sleeping. Grateful for this miracle, these youths planted this summer oak. The walk goes past the Château Doyen, which was built at the end of the 19th century on the site of a low oven. The walking route ends at the hamlet "Pierre-qui-Tourne," where there are two megaliths, the stones likely dating from the Neolithic period.
