Since the nineties, the mountain bike course in Overijse and Huldenberg has been a well-known route. At that time, it was one of the first permanent mountain biking routes in Flanders. After years of service, there was a need for renewal of the outdated route.

The renewed mountain bike route "The 2 Valleys" in the territory of Overijse and Huldenberg features three new mountain biking loops:

• the red loop of 23 km, of which 13 km is unpaved, starts from Overijse (Begijnhof)
• the blue loop of 22 km, of which 13 km is unpaved, starts from Sint-Agatha-Rode (Church)
• the green loop of 12 km, of which 8 km is unpaved, starts from Terlanen (Church Square)

For experienced mountain bikers, the new red, blue, and green loops can also be combined into a total route of 57 km. The renewed route is a total of no less than 24 km longer than the old route and includes more than 34 km of unpaved paths.

Characteristic of a route in the Grape Region is that there are more than 700 height meters in total, with challenging slopes and technical singletracks, making it a true playground for mountain bikers from the wider area.
