The first part of this loop walk follows the route of the Venn trilogy starting in the center of Bütgenbach. First, you walk over field paths with sweeping panoramas, then follow the bike path of the Vennbahn for a while before descending towards the Warche. Here, you follow a beautiful riverside path to WKP25. To return to Bütgenbach, we switch to the network of hiking junctions (24 - 35 - 32 - 29 - 23 - 18 - 41 - 39 and 44).
