Beethoven called his sixth symphony "The Pastoral." Here in Thorembais-les-Béguines, we invite you to a walkable pastoral symphony. The village, one of the most beautiful villages in the municipality of Perwez, is home to several monumental farms. The 4 km rural walk leads you to discover three of them, including the "Petite Cense," which welcomed King Albert II and Queen Paola during their visit to Perwez in April 2006.
The village does not have a single path or field road left, but the walk is particularly remarkable for the landscapes crossed, whether it be the fields extending to the horizon or the remarkable rural architecture.
The Circuit des Fermes is one of the 7 tourist routes of the "Rando Perwez" project, a civic initiative that provides hikers with a coherent set of high-quality walking trails within the remaining network of greenways in Perwez (paths, ways, and RAVeL-147).
