AzureFrom 1914 to 1918, the Westhoek was the scene of the First World War. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers of more than 20 nationalities were killed. After the often useless battles and countless destructions, the Westhoek rises from the ashes.
This route takes you past the most important war memorials, numerous military cemeteries and sites in the region.
