RAVeL stands for Réseau Autonome de Voies Lentes, a Walloon programme aimed at providing autonomous paths for slow vehicles. It is a specific type of slow road, intended for cyclists, walkers, skaters, riders, etc. The network consists mainly of towpaths, former railway lines and connecting roads. The Walloon Region is the road manager of the RAVeL network.
