AzureA walk through the Lombaarden nature reserve that was formed here about 12,000 years ago by the Demer who described a vast meander at this place. The strong leaching of this meander is at the basis of the difference in level between the center of Haacht and the Lombaarden. Due to the variety of open landscape, groves, wood edges and orchards, the Lombaarden has a great natural value.
The nature trail is a beautiful nature trail along the neighborhood park de Heerlyckheid van Roost, the summer dike, the Wilde Heide, the Antitankgracht and the Scharent district.

Accessible by public transport: SNCB - Haacht Station and buses De Lijn to Haacht centre
By car: parking along the Lombaardenlaan
