The hike is associated with gold. The route follows the Amblève, which runs through the old Ardennes massif. On the banks, we occasionally see traces of early exploitation by gold diggers. This hike also takes us through "Wolfsbuch" or the Wolf Forest, which extends into the Eastern Cantons.
