By building a series of semi-paved hiking paths and developing a beautiful private forest area at the top of the Koekelareberg, this hiking route is a highlight in the triangle of Ostend-Diksmuide-Torhout. The loop explores the beautifully designed village center, where numerous artworks and the somewhat strange Sala Thai can be admired. Furthermore, there is the Osthofpark, the cradle of the municipality, and the Swal, a fine nature reserve with rare floral vegetation, as well as the 'mountain' itself, an outcrop of the Ruidenberg and about 43 meters high.
