Attraverso la costruzione di alcuni sentieri semi-pavimentati e l'accesso a un bel bosco privato sulla cima del Koekelareberg, questo percorso di trekking è un vero gioiello all'interno del triangolo Oostende-Diksmuide-Torhout. Il percorso esplora il bellissimo centro del villaggio dove è possibile ammirare diverse opere d'arte e il piuttosto strano Sala Thai. Proseguendo verso l'Oosthofpark, il luogo di nascita del comune, e la Swal, un raffinato angolo di natura con vegetazione floreale rara, e la 'montagna' stessa, un affluente del Ruidenberg alta circa 43 m.
