The Fründenhütte is a shelter of the Swiss Alpine Club of the Altels section. It is located in the municipality of Kandersteg in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
The hut is situated on a rock ledge that was still surrounded by glaciers on both sides at the time of its construction in 1936, above the Fründen Glacier. To the north of the hut lies the Fründen Glacier, to the south, 1000 meters lower, extends the Oeschinen Lake. To the southwest begins the Galletgrat leading to the Doldenhorn, and to the southeast lies the namesake of the hut, the Fründenhorn.
