This hike features a promising view of the tracks of Mark Twain’s book – “Climbing the Riffelberg”. Four trails lead from Riffelberg to Rotenboden and on to Gornergrat. The most beautiful path and longest goes westward to Dristelen from where the trail continues to Furi and to the glacier garden. The breathtaking view of the shrinking Gorner Glacier will linger in your memory for years to come. The path continues eastward across the glacial stream and on to the foot of the Riffelhorn and the two pristine Riffel lakes.
