Winterberg is the closest winter sports area and ski resort for the Netherlands. Thanks to the use of snow cannons, the ski area is fairly snow-reliable. In addition to the ski area, Winterberg also has two ski jumps and an official toboggan and bobsleigh track. A large ski area surrounds the mountain Kahle Asten. In the summer, it is a cozy walking village.
