Dürbheim is located at the foot of the Swabian Jura at an elevation of 677 to 973 meters above sea level, about nine kilometers north of the district town of Tuttlingen. Surrounded in the east by the forests of the Albtrauf, new residential areas are arranged in a semicircle around the older town center of the industrialized municipality. The hamlet of Risiberg on the Alb high plateau already belongs to the Greater Heuberg. The municipality is situated on the European main watershed between the Rhine and the Danube. There is the source of the Faulenbach, which flows into the Danube via the Elta; just over a kilometer to the north, the Prim springs, which flows into the Neckar in Rottweil.
