Monreal is a local community in the Elz Valley in the Mayen-Koblenz district in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, belonging to the Vordereifel collective municipality, which has its administrative seat in Mayen.
Above the village are the ruins of Löwenburg and Philippsburg.
Monreal also includes the residential places Burghof, Cond, Lauxhof, Müsch, Augstmühle, Polcherholz, Schäfereihof, Schnürenhof, and Suhrhof.
