Mistorf is a municipality in the district of Rostock in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The municipality is administered by the Güstrow-Land office, which is based in the non-office-affiliated town of Güstrow.
The municipality area of Mistorf lies between the towns of Güstrow and Schwaan, about 30 km south of Rostock. The surroundings are slightly hilly, and the district of Neu Mühle is located at the Mühlbach, which flows south towards Nebel between the valley lowlands of the Warnow and upper Recknitz.
