Kaltental Castle, also known as Kaltenthal and Kaltindal, is a ruined hill castle on a hilltop at the site of the Catholic St. Anthony's Church at Burgstraße 25 in the district of Kaltental in the state capital Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg.
Kaltental Castle was probably built by the local nobility to control the Nesenbach Valley. It is likely the legal successor to Möhringen Castle. The Lords of Kaltental were first mentioned in a document in 1125. They were Welf and later Tübingen ministerials. The exact extent of the Kaltental burgrave's office, evidenced from the late 13th century, is not known, but as a feudal levy of Württemberg, it probably also included Stuttgart.
