The Rudower See is a long, stretched lake in the Prignitz region, in the far northwest corner of Brandenburg. To its southwest lies the town of Lenzen, less than three kilometers away from the lower middle course of the Elbe.
The channel-like, southwest-northeast oriented surface of the lake covers 1.75 km², with a length of up to 3.77 kilometers and a maximum width of 610 meters. According to the topographical map, the water level is at 15.3 m NN. The greatest depth is reported to be six meters; the volume of the water body is approximately 6.62 million cubic meters. The drainage basin of the lake has an area of 2985 hectares.
