The brewery was founded in 1817 as a family business. In 1923, it was acquired by the Ritter brewery. The brewery was located on today’s Schüruferstraße, directly adjacent to the wine vinegar and sauerkraut factory Hengstenberg, which was demolished in 1997, a branch of the Esslingen company Hengstenberg. Among other things, a beer named "Doppel-Kraft-Urquell" was brewed there. The building parts were used for many years by a dance school. The building no longer exists. It was demolished around 2019.
