The Napier Barracks, formerly Richthofen Barracks, was a barracks of the British Rhine Army located on the site of the Dortmund-Brackel airfield in Dortmund-Brackel, northeast of the city center.
After World War II, the British took over the originally named Richthofen Barracks of the German Luftwaffe, named after Manfred von Richthofen, and renamed the barracks after the Irish military historian William Francis Patrick Napier. The 36th Heavy Air Defence Regiment of the Royal Artillery operated a missile unit and the special munitions depot Dortmund here.
