The bank W. Fortmann & Söhne KG was a German private bank in Oldenburg, Lower Saxony, which was converted into a branch of the Oldenburgische Landesbank on January 1, 2015, and was dissolved on December 31, 2016. The brand has since not been continued.
The establishment of the bank W. Fortmann & Söhne was initiated by the councilman Wilhelm Christian Diedrich Fortmann and was completed on May 1, 1886, by its registration as a general partnership in the register of the district court of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg.
