The Bonneberg is a mountain with a height of 170 m above sea level in Vlotho. The mountain is located in the northern part of the district of Valdorf. Its name can be explained by the oldest known mention as Bunenberg, i.e. Bune for a larger, even elevation. It belongs to the Weser Uplands and the Lippe Uplands. The Bonneberg was once also the namesake for the farming community of Bonneberg, which belonged to the former municipality of Valdorf. To the south is the Paterberg nature reserve.
