The Lichtenfels Castle is a castle in the municipality of Lichtenfels, named after it, in the Waldeck-Frankenberg district in Hesse. It is located on a mountain spur above the village of Dalwigksthal and marks the entrance of the Eder tributary Orke into the Örksche Switzerland from above.
The hilltop castle stands about 700 m east-southeast of the Lichtenfels part of the municipality of Dalwigksthal, overlooking the wooded and winding valley of the western Eder tributary Orke, which is fed in Dalwigksthal by the Wilden Aa. It is located on the 383 m high northeast spur of the Eisenberg.
