The Seven Sorrows Chapel is a chapel dedicated to the Virgin Mary in the Westerholt Forest in Gelsenkirchen-Buer, Germany. Built in 1723 and renovated in 1948, the small church with the patronage of Mary's Sorrows belongs to the parish of St. Mary of the Assumption within the parish of St. Urbanus. To this day, it is used for open-air processions and services and for private devotion. Since 2008, next to the chapel there has been the Via Matris station trail with bronze plaques by H. Schilcher.
