Haus Morp is a name used for several buildings in Erkrath – to which Morp has belonged since 1929. If so, then the name Haus Morp should be used for the Morp manor. Large parts of Morp are landscape and nature reserves. Düsseldorfer Straße crosses this area in the west-east axis, the Mauspfad, a trade path that has existed since pre-Christian times, in the north-south axis. To the north it is bounded by the tracks of the Rhenish Railway, to the south by those of the Bergisch-Märkische Railway.
