The Martin Luther Church, inaugurated on December 21, 1914, is a simple structure with an apse and a side tower, and is attributed to late Art Nouveau. With this, the place Zeuthen received its first church. Since 1985, the church has been a listed building under monument protection and is registered in the list of historic monuments in Zeuthen.
The three places Zeuthen, Miersdorf, and Gersdorf are first documented in 1375 in the land register of Charles IV. In 1860, the small village of Zeuthen had only 122 inhabitants. Gersdorf was last mentioned in 1860 and was already referred to as the forester's lodge Wüstemark at that time.
