Questenberg Castle is the ruin of a medieval feudal castle on the castle hill north of the village of Questenberg in the Mansfeld-Südharz district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The keep, the ring wall, two cellars and one wall of the palace have been preserved and are freely accessible.
The hilltop castle is about 1200 to 1250, probably built by the Counts of Beichlingen. In 1275, "Fredericus de Questenberg" is mentioned as a servus in the retinue of Count Friedrich von Beichlingen, who belonged to a noble family of Questenberg that named itself after her. The Counts of Hohnstein had been owners since 1305. In 1349, the castle was first mentioned directly as "hus zcuo Questinberg".
