The Carthusian monastery of Château-Notre-Dame is a former Carthusian monastery, founded in 1476, in Wedderen, near Dülmen, Germany, one of the last Carthusian monasteries established in the Middle Ages.
This Carthusian monastery was founded on August 31, 1476, by Gerard de Keppel, marshal of the Duchy of Cleves, in memory of his son killed at the siege of Neuss in 1475. He lived as a monk in the new Carthusian monastery until his death. The foundation was confirmed by Hermann von Langen, dean of the chapter of Münster Cathedral.
