The Veerseniederung is a nature reserve in the municipality of Scheeßel and the municipalities of Brockel and Hemslingen in the Samtgemeinde Bothel in the district of Rotenburg.
The nature reserve, designated NSG LÜ 299, covers approximately 442 hectares. It is mainly part of the FFH area "Wümmeniederung." In the southeast, it borders directly on the nature reserve "Hemslinger Moor" as well as the landscape protection area "Deepener Wacholdergebiet" and in the west on the nature reserve "Wümmeniederung with Rodau, Wiedau, and Trochelbach." Parts of the landscape protection area "Deepener Wacholdergebiet" have been incorporated into the nature reserve. The area has been protected since August 15, 2014. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the district of Rotenburg.
