The house at 14 Goethestraße in the Hessian spa town of Bad Nauheim became known worldwide because it was inhabited by Elvis Presley from February 3, 1959, to March 2, 1960.
As part of his military service in the US Army, Presley arrived on Wednesday, October 1, 1958, aboard the troop transport USS Randall in Bremerhaven. From there, he took the train to Friedberg, where he served in the Ray Barracks for the next 17 months.
