The Saarburg District Court is a court of ordinary jurisdiction and one of eight district courts in the district of the Trier Regional Court.
The court is based in the city of Saarburg in the district of Trier-Saarburg. The court district extends over the area of the cities and municipalities of Ayl, Fisch, Freudenburg, Irsch, Kanzem, Kastel-Staadt, Kirf, Konz, Mannebach, Merzkirchen, Nittel, Oberbillig, Ockfen, Onsdorf, Palzem, Pellingen, Saarburg, Schoden, Serrig, Taben-Rodt, Tawern, Temmels, Trassem, Wasserliesch, Wawern, Wellen, Wiltingen, and Wincheringen. About 52,000 people live in this district.
