Hornow is a village and a former municipality in the Spree-Neisse district, in Brandenburg, Germany. From 31 December 2001 to 1 January 2016, Hornow formed the municipality of Hornow-Wadelsdorf together with the neighbouring village of Wadelsdorf.
Hornow is located in Lower Lusatia, about 25 kilometres southeast of Cottbus and 14 kilometres northeast of the core town of Spremberg in the recognised settlement area of the Sorbs/Wends. Neighboring villages are Drieschnitz-Vorwerk and Trebendorf to the north, Bohsdorf-Vorwerk to the northeast, Bohsdorf to the east, Klein Loitz and Wadelsdorf to the south, Bagenz to the west and Drieschnitz-Kahsel to the north. Hornow includes the place of residence Hornow-Vorwerk.
