The Haideburg hunting lodge is located in the Mosigkau Heath in Dessau-Roßlau . It is a listed building. Since 2000, it has been part of the Unesco World Heritage Site of the Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Kingdom.
The hunting lodge was built between 1782 and 1783. Prince Leopold III Friedrich Franz von Anhalt-Dessau commissioned the master builder Friedrich Wilhelm von Erdmannsdorff to build it as a hunting lodge and forest district. It is said to have been modelled on the Prussian coronation palace in Königsberg in a smaller form.
