The Defence District Command 35 was a defence district command of the Bundeswehr with the headquarters of the staff most recently in Augustdorf. The main task of the command was territorial defense in its defense district.
The Defence District Command was planned as part of the Territorial Army in the 1960s to take over Army Structure II and was subordinated to the commander in Military Area III. Based on the civil administrative division, the defence district roughly corresponded to the administrative district of Detmold. Accordingly, the location of the staff was Detmold.
