Oberbauerschaft is a town in the northeastern part of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The town is part of the municipality of Hüllhorst. The village is located on the south side of the Wiehen Mountains, slightly higher up the mountain than the twin village of Klosterbauerschaft.
The meaning of the name is approximately: high-lying hamlet or, more specifically: high-lying group of scattered farms, belonging to each other for historical reasons.
