The village of Buir [byːɐ̯] is the westernmost district of Kerpen in the Rhein-Erft-Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia.
Buir is located in the far west of the urban area of Kerpen and directly on the railway line Cologne-Aachen as well as the federal motorway A4, both of which pass immediately to the north of the village. The state roads 276 and 327 run through the village. To the north of the village extends the remaining Bürgewald, much of which has already had to make way for the Hambach open-pit mining. Neighboring villages of Buir are Golzheim to the south, Blatzheim to the east, Manheim to the northeast, and Morschenich to the northwest.
