Description by the author

The 39 kilometre circular tour starts at Königs Wusterhausen station and follows the Dahme Cycle Path through Niederlehme, Wernsdorf, then on through Schmöckwitz to Berlin-Grünau.
The first bridge to be crossed is the historic bascule bridge at Neue Mühle lock. From there, continue left to Niederlehme. The path runs parallel to the River Dahme and past the architecturally interesting Niederlehme water tower. Along the route, cyclists will see the little fire station on the Niederlehme village meadow, plus an information panel about the Dahme Cycle Path. The second bridge comes in Wernsdorfer Strasse, right on the border between Brandenburg and Berlin. Two idyllic restaurants right on the waterside are the ideal places for a short break. The route continues along the Dahme Cycle Path towards Grünau. From the Grünau lido, the route leads into the Grünau Forest, past the traditional restaurant Hanff’s Ruh to the Old Radeland Path. Cutting across the wood, you reach a cycle bridge across the railway tracks and then ride on via Berlin-Bohnsdorf, Waltersdorf, Schulzendorf, Zeuthen and Wildau back to the starting point. In Zeuthen, the Miersdorf lido is the ideal spot to take a refreshing dip in the cool water. From here, the last stage leads through Hoherlehme via the Goethebahn. The last but one bridge on the tour crosses the motorway not far from the A 10 Centre and then you continue from the Broadcasting and Radio Technology Museum, past the historic water tower and down to Königs Wusterhausen Castle, where the 7th bridge on the tour crosses the Nottekanal. The destination is once again Königs Wusterhausen station.
